MacArthur
MacArthur on evangelism: "If I had an hour to talk to someone about Christ, I’d spend 55 minutes talking about their sin and their condemnation, and I’d spend the last five minutes talking about the solution."
Interesting that Jesus dwelt on God's love 99% of the time and only really talked about sin when talking with the religious leaders (like MacArthur). I much prefer Jesus' way over the religious way.
Actually John, Jesus was the five minutes compared to the lifetime of condemnation that the "sinners" had recieved from the "religious leaders". Jesus took the burdens off while the religious leaders spent a lifetime of putting them on.

It does help people understand what they are saved from.
